अंबिकापुर के मैनपाट में पिकनिक मनाने पहुंचे कुछ युवकों की कार अचानक नदी में बह गई। यह देख वे शोर मचाने लगे। कार निर्माणाधीन पुलिया के पास ही रेत में फंसी रही। नजारा देखने काफी संख्या में लोग मौके पर पहुंच गए। फिलहाल कार नदी में ही फंसी हुई है। मैनपाट के ग्राम कदनई से होकर गुजरने वाली घुनघुट्टा नदी पर पुलिया का निर्माण कार्य चल रहा है। बारिश की वजह से निर्माण बंद है। रविवार को कुछ युवक कार से पिकनिक मनाने निर्माणाधीन पुलिया के पास पहुंचे थे। वे पुलिया के नीचे अपनी कार खड़ी कर पास में ही पत्थरों पर बैठकर भोजन बना रहे थे। इसी दौरान दोपहर में अचानक नदी में करीब 4 फीट पानी बहने लगा। यह देख युवक वहां से किनारे हो गए, लेकिन वे कार तक नहीं पहुंच पाए। ऐसे में कार कुछ दूर तक पानी के तेज बहाव में बहती चली गई। युवक कहां से आए थे, इसका पता फिलहाल नहीं चल पाया है
अचानक नदी का जल स्तर बढने से बही कार,
निर्माणाधीन पुलिया के नीचे कार खड़ी कर बना रहे थे भोजन बढ गया नही का पानी
