कांकेर। जिले के कोतवाली थाना क्षेत्र के बाईपास मार्ग पर देर रात एक कार की टक्कर से दो युवकों की मौत हो गई। हादसे के बाद इलाके में शोक और आक्रोश का माहौल है। लगातार हो रही दुर्घटनाओं से नाराज ग्रामीणों ने बुधवार को नेशनल हाईवे-30 पर चक्काजाम कर दिया और दुर्घटनाओं पर रोक लगाने के लिए ओवरब्रिज निर्माण की मांग उठाई। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि बाईपास मार्ग पर पहले भी कई बार हादसे हो चुके हैं, लेकिन समस्या का स्थायी समाधान नहीं हो पाया है। इसी नाराजगी के चलते ग्रामीणों ने सड़क पर उतरकर विरोध जताया। चक्काजाम की सूचना के बाद प्रशासनिक अमला मौके पर मौजूद है और स्थिति को संभालने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। ग्रामीणों की प्रमुख मांग है कि, इस मार्ग पर बढ़ती दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए ओवरब्रिज का निर्माण कराया जाए, ताकि भविष्य में इस तरह के दर्दनाक हादसों से बचा जा सके।
