जानकारी के अनुसार मैनपाठ विकासखंड अंतर्गत ग्राम कुनकुरी के माध्यमिक शाला में पदस्थ शिक्षक हरीश कुमार जो कि ग्राम केसला के निवासी थे आज दोपहर को ग्राम रजौटी में बारिश के दौरान रूक गए थे इसी दौरान उनके उपर आकाशीय बिजली गिर गई। आसपास के लोगों द्वारा उन्हें उपचार के लिए सीतापुर अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहां उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। इस घटना से शिक्षा विभाग में शोक व्याप्त हो गया है।

आज दोपहर अचानक मौसम में आए बदलाव के बाद पूरे जिले में हो रही बारिश व वज्रपात के दौरान बिजली की चपेट में आकर एक शिक्षक की मौत हो गई।
